DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY OF ADMINISTRATION UNIT:

✟ Oversees all aspects of human resource management – including staff recruitment, placement, training and development, remuneration, staff welfare, discipline, performance systems;
✟ Deals with industrial relations matters so as to ensure that the Diocese is properly represented when interfacing with external parties on employee-related matters;
✟ Takes measures to ensure there is constant communication between the Diocese Management and staff on employee-related issues;
✟ Oversees all matters related to office administration – including mail, registry, secretarial and messenger services, transport – and ensures that all such services are provided with high degree of efficiency and effectiveness in accordance with the Diocese’s administrative policies and systems;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY OF ESTATE AFFAIR UNIT:

✟ Provides professional support on land or property acquisition – processing of title deeds for properties owned by the Diocese;
✟ Provides technical support to the Districts, Parishes and Sub-parishes on the proper maintenance of Church properties particularly buildings;
✟ Provides support in the maintenance of the asset register;
✟ Provides leadership on evaluation of land use proposals and makes recommendations;
✟ Assists with site planning including updates of maps;
✟ Advice’s on insurance matters of assets – buildings, installations etc;
✟ Provides support in the supervision of on-going building projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY OF PROCUREMENT UNIT:

✟ Provides the procurement functions to all institutions of the Diocese;
✟ Assists in the preparation of systems and procedures for the procurement of all supplies – goods, works and services;
✟ Advices on and maintains proper records of stores for controls purposes;
✟ Coordinates the procurement of office services at the Head Office from outside providers and ensure that such services are at the required standards;
✟ Advices on safety and security of stores against fire, theft or any other hazards;
✟ Coordinates the stock taking so as to establish values of stocks.
